BOOKS4KIDS
We Don't Judge Books by Their Covers
Books4Kids
doesn’t judge a book by its cover. We believe that all people – including youth in detention facilities – have the right to educate themselves, and it’s our goal to provide enriching reading materials to help them open their minds to new ideas and pursue personal growth.
Our Mission
The Books4Kids program solicits book donations, which we collect, curate, and deliver to Colorado Department of Youth Services facilities that serve youth between the ages of 10-21. We collaborate with the administrators and managers of these facilities to deliver books to the living quarters of the youth, where they have regular access to them.

“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.”
