An Educational Evaluation by a Qualified Teacher is a

Great Alternativeto testing and complies with CO state laws.

Evaluations are a non-stressful Approach and works well

with any style of homeschooling, Curriculum, Online, and Even Unschooling.

This is not about pass or fail, but about learning and showing progress.

Students that are participating in a home school program are required by

state law to have academic progress evaluated in grades 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11.

Colorado law states that home school programs must include, but are not

limited to, the subjects of communication skills of reading, writing, and

speaking, mathematics, history, civics, literature, science, and regular

courses of instruction in the constitution of the United States.

Homeschool Evaluations

Examples of your math, a writing sample, a book at your child's level to read aloud, and any curriculum you have been working on. We understand with homeschool there is not always a lot of things to show on paper, so you can also come prepared to discuss your homeschooling style and what you do for education. We homeschool our child as well and understand.

Things to bring:

How long is the evaluation?

30 minutes is all it takes

How much does it cost?

$50 for the evaluation and we will send a copy

of your evaluation to your school district

Can the parent attend?

Yes, We request the parent and child attend                                                            the evaluation together.

What if I don't have a lot of school work to show on paper?

We understand learning comes in many forms. We can talk                               about your education style and the ways your child is learning.                       Your photos are a great way to remind yourself of all the way you                   have be learning.
